How To Write Your Press Release

Part of website promotion is writing press releases. I have been submitting press releases to different PR submission sites. In my first submissions, my PR's were rejected. I had no idea why and so I researched more, view other press releases and eventually discovered how it should be written:

1.) No advertisements

It is important to know that unlike other article distribution and advertising methods, press releases are not for advertising or for general interest articles. It must be written for the purpose of announcing something. Press releases with advertisements are mostly rejected by PR submission sites.

2.) Newsworthy

Press releases are expected to have strong news value. It must contain stories published by the organization, company or such
* a new product or service you launched
* a business expansion
* a recent event
* a milestone you reached
* an anniversary
* an award
* or any other newsworthy subject

Press releases are designed to be able to encourage journalists to write an article for the company.

In writing your press release, content must be between 400 - 700 words, depending on how much we can actually write about your story by complying with all the rules for press releases.
